Solids
100% if sold at 100% solids. If sold at 70% or 50% solids, solids will be 70% or 50% + 2%. Primary procedure for determining solids is by moisture determination balance using a surface temperature of 280/300° F on a sample pan over a period of 55 minutes. A 5.0 gram sample is used.
Volatile Solvent
If sold at 100% solids, there is no volatile solvent. If sold at 70% solids or 50% solids, volatile solvent will be 30% 0r 50% mineral spirits – conforms to the low aromaticity of Rule 66.
